I'm to lazy to fix the pictures in order. I'll just explain like they are showing.
The kids got new PJ's:)

My kids like the new Sesame Street show:S
Nicky, Livy and Ian like to say stinky songs on the way to Livy's house after school. They thought they were hilarious.
The kids got to pick a candy from Halloween just because they are so cute:)

After Thanks giving we decorate for Christmas:)
We play Wii, Hanna was happy doing her silly happy face and also being one of the Indians.
Here is the feast and my sister playing with Ian pillow fight. My man serving the Turkey YUM!

Here is Hanna thinking that there are not best way to cure a rash but bottom free and of course next picture so fashion with the bugger cleaner and the cream rash of course with her sunglasses. Isn't she adorable?
until next time:)

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving. I wasn't planning on doing anything but talk about the meaning of the holiday to my kids. Glenn returned from the hospital after noon, and my baby sister came with her family to spend the day with us. I, of course, was ready to prepare the feast and some activities for the kids. Glenn told the story about the meaning and importance of Thanksgiving. We started the feast at 12:00 and ended after midnight. Instead of playing football, we all played MarioKart Wii.

Next day Glenn came back home again at noon. My sister and I went shopping after he came home, totally kidless (thanks to my brother in-law Beto and my lovely hubby). The next day Glenn was on call so we all stayed home and played with the kids, visited a little bit more, then we went to Sam's. We went to sleep so late. The next day wasn't that great since a punk decided to brake into my sister's car. They didn't steal anything, which made us think it was probably a really bad prank. I felt so bad for them. They stayed an extra day just to fix the problem. I'm so glad we have cameras around our complex to see who was the "funny" person was who did that. However, that same day my sister decided to take a pregnancy test and it came out positive...so I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNTIE AGAIN! That make me so happy. She keeps encoraging me to get pregnant, too, so we can have our kids with the same age. I'm giving it a thought, but I already know my answer. :)

Today they had to go back to Austin. I had such a terrific time with all of them and the kids already are asking to see them soon. :)

I'm excited for Christmas. We already decorated everything. We now are just doing what we do best: ANTICIPATE FOR THAT DAY!

Jinx?

This has been a busy month.

First Hanna got sick: Diarrhea, throwing up, fever, and a cold. My poor baby! She had been miserable for the first 2 weeks of this month. I even had to take her to the hospital to do a blood count. They put a needle in her arm and that made me SO sad. I just love her SO much, and it broke my heart seeing her in pain.

Then Ian along with my husband and Nicole got sick with the same bug. It didn't last that long for Glenn or Nicole. Ian, on the other hand, got it bad. The funny thing is that even though Ian was sick longer, he always looked active and happy; always with enough energy to bug everybody. That was until last Sunday when he was not himself. He had fever and even though he wanted to play, he couldn't. He labored so much to breathe, and then he just couldn't anymore. He started begging me for help with his lost voice, "MOM, PLEASE HELP ME!" Those words are still hitting me. I was balling and SO worried. I didn't want to have to take Hanna and Nicole to the hospital, but I didn't see many choices. I knelt and prayed for Heavenly Father's guidance and then super Dad came to the rescue. He came back home just in time to take Ian to the ER. Hearing my boy asking me for help and me not being able to do anything just broke my heart. I was calling my sister and asking her for consolation. She was shocked when she heard that I was really worried. I finally called Glenn when he was in the ER and could finally talk to Ian on the phone. Glenn told me he was going to be fine, and I had nothing to worry about. Ian came back and he was ready to keep making trouble and I WAS (and still am) SO HAPPY FOR IT!

Then Nicole got sick. Diarrhea and fever. She kept complaining that her ear and neck hurt so I took her to the doctor. She was having a fever of 104.5 already with Ibuprofen. She still had some diarrhea, but no more fever. Her pediatrician has been abscent for health problems so I had to go with another one who is helping while my kids' pediatrician gets better.

Thankful? Of course I'm so thankful. I'm so thankful that even though it's been a rough month I've been able and capable to help my kids. I'm so thankful that our Heavenly Father loves us so much that he provides everything that we need, EVEN TRIALS. However, He never leaves us by ourselves to solve them. I'm so thankful that I have a loving and wonderful husband who is here every time that I need him. I'm so thankful that I have a great family, that my mom didn't doubt to come and help me out in case I need her, and that my sister Dina told me I could count on her. She even told me that she would come and drive all the way from Austin just to take care of my kids. I'm so thankful for good friends who kept calling me and bringing me things that I needed so I didn't have to take my kids to the store. My heart swells with gratitude because I know Heavenly Father loves me and loves my family. I love that Nicole and Ian can jump, talk, play, bug, kiss, hug, walk, and breathe, and that Hanna can cry, smile, laugh, talk her gibberish language, and that all of them can eat and drink well.

I'm so thankful for my husband, for his job, and for insurance, of course :)

So at the end so far this month also has been great. I have my family with me and we love each other. I already know next week will be crazy. I have so many things to do :S

I better go to sleep.

Somehow she is reading!

That's right! My cutie, big girl NICOLE is reading! I don't even think she knows she can read now. All of a sudden she decided to put the sound of the letters together and voila! She reads words some shorter words but sounding out the letters, and when she does it about the third time she realizes that it means something or knows the word.

Today I went to the parent-teacher conference at Nicole's school, and the teacher told me that on a scale from 1 to 10, Nicole was indeed a number 10. She told me that Nicole picks up everything really fast, BUT the only problem that she has is that SHE TALKS TOO MUCH! She told me Nicky is very social and everybody wants to talk to her at school and that is a big temptation for Nicole. However, she has been getting very high scores on all her tests and she thinks Nicky is more advanced than most in her class. I'm so proud of her!

I had a long day ...me too Dad

This are pictures from my pedicure and manicure that I couldn't post before. Once again babe thanks for being just you. BHE!
Here is the inside of Nicole's princess cake.

My girls love playing with their brother racing cars.
Glenn was on call yesterday 32 HOURS SHIFT. Hanna finally is sleeping in her room (after 7 month of being a cute visitor in our bedroom) Ive got to say that I miss her so much but at the same time is nice to see that my bedroom is not that small or crowded. She is sleeping better also in the other room. She is finally feeling better from the horrible bug that got into her last week. A week of vomiting and diarrhea is not good for anybody. Specially for a little baby like my baby peach.
Today I woke up and took a shower. When I came to the kitchen I saw Nicole trying to feed her brother. I told her that I was the mommy and she said she just wanted to help. I finally become my mother. I told her "SOMETIMES YOU CAN HELP MORE BY NOT TRYING TO HELP" I gave them some cereal and made them to take a shower too. Ian was refusing such a thing. I found a lizard and I showed it to him. He was so excited to see it. Then I told him that the Lizard was here to eat dirt and perhaps if he didn't take a shower OR wanted to use the potty the Lizard would find out. Right there was the end of the discussion. He started to get undress and get quickly in the shower. Then he used the potty and told me MOM CAN THE LIZARD GO IN THE POTTY SO IT WON'T SCARE ME? haha. I know I'm a mean mom.
My hubby came back and he looked tired. I send him and the kids to take their naps while I was taking Nicole to school. After that I went and bought some groceries. I came back and prepared dinner. Then it was time to pick up Nicole so I grabbed my other two kids and leave Glenn alone so he could actually enjoyed his nap. After picking Nicole up we took her to ballet. Then we came back eat super fast (like my little buddy Jay would say) and we all went to the FHE that the ward was having. The kids enjoyed the story and making turkey's and reindeer out of cookies. Glenn and I enjoyed eating and visiting with friends there. Everybody is so nice. We are going to miss them when we move:S

We came back just on time to send the kids to bed. Glenn told Nicole right after he was laying her down that he was SUPER TIRED and he explained that he had to work all night long and wanted to sleep more. Then Nicole with a sight touched his shoulder and told him in a understanding voice " ME TOO DAD! I HAD TO GO TO SCHOOL AND THEN TO BALLET (sight)" lol.
Well to continue with the tiredness I've got to go to sleep. I'm tired too. Being a SUPER MOM is not an easy job. I'm glad I'm not a SUPER MOM and I'm just a Mom who really needs to go to sleep:)

My baby is 5 years old!

Five years ago on a November 2nd, I was having the most horrible contractions. I had been awake for 2 nights in a row having them. My supportive husband was there every second to hold my hand. My mom was there to to give me the typical mom sermon, "I HAD 13 kids. YOU CAN TOTALLY DO THIS." Not very helpful when you have no idea of what is going on. Being so small nobody in the hospital knew I was pregnant and about to have a baby. Finally a wonderful nurse checked on me and told me, "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE ALLOWED TO STAY IN THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE YOU ARE ABOUT TO HAVE A BABY." The first words that came out of me, "WHEN ARE YOU GIVING ME THE PAIN MEDICATION?"

Despite one of the nurse's negligence, everything turned out great and with help from above I gave birth to a wonderful, pretty baby girl. Tears of joy came out of everybody's eyes there. Even though Nicky was a little sick, I felt the Spirit very strongly telling me she was going to be fine.

I can't believe it's been 5 years already. It was sunny and warm this morning, and with my baby sister and her family here, we all sang Happy Birthday to Nicky. It's amazing how things can change so fast.

Nicole, you are such an amazing girl. You try so hard to be obedient and you do such a fantastic job with that. You're always so outgoing. I admire so many things about you. Your heart is precious. Your prayers and asking the Lord for help so we all can be happy is something that I love about you. You are indeed a very dramatic little girl, but you have such a beautiful soul and heart. You always worry about your Dad coming back safely at home, or Mommy not being so sick (when I'm pregnant) You really try to be a good example for others. I love you, Claudia Nicole Walker. I feel very blessed and happy that the Lord or you decided to have you in our family. I'm learning so many things about you and there are so many more for discover. You are my princess and it doesn't matter how old you get you will be always my beautiful baby princess. Te amo nenita!

For her 5th b-day we planned a princess party. The "castle" was ready to rock. Glenn, my brother in-law Beto, and my sister Dina helped me with the decorations while Ian and Merary (my niece) helped with the toy room. The boys took off since it was a girl princess party. We had pizza , cake, and ice cream. For games we made crowns and friendship necklaces/ bracelets. We also played "freeze" with dancing and music, and put the crown on the castle (tail on the donkey). The party was 2 hours long. I ran out off time so we opened the presents just with the family. Emma (one of Nicky's cousin) helped by reading the cards and notes from the presents and Merary (the other niece) helped by opening the presents. Her favorite part of the party was making the friendship necklaces and opening the presents. She loved her princess cake (made by my sister), and pizza is her favorite food. Hanna was sick so she couldn't join her sister's celebration. Nicky was so thoughtful and decorated Hanna's crown. We all were so tired. The kids went to sleep while the grown ups stayed up and played Wii (MarioKart addiction). Nicky thanked me for her great princess party. Before she went to sleep her grandparents called her again to wish her a great b-day and to sing for her. She was smiling all the time, but ready to go to sleep so that she could play with all her toys the following day.

Also, and we don't know if this is just because she's now five years old, Nicky has officially told us (and everyone at school), she no longer wants to be called Nicky. Her name, for all who read this, is "NICOLE"!!! :) Let the drama continue! :) Here are some pics, enjoy!
