(this pictures are from BYU game. Can you tell Ian learns fast? this was his first game with his dad)
Today I was reading. I was so intrigued about this book. I told Glenn, "PLEASE PUT A MOVIE SO IAN WOULD LET ME FINISH MY BOOK." Ian immediatly asked for Ice Age. He is so into all kinds of movies with dangerous, wild animals in them. He was sitting in the middle of the room in his personal small chair while I was laying down
next to him in the grown up couch. I was reading my book as much as I could concentrate, since Ian was distracting me every 5 seconds with his comments about the movie. "MOM, MOM! LOOK AT IT. IT'S A TIGER, OH AND LOOK AT THE BABY, TOO! THE BIG ELEPHANT AND AND..." me, "YES, IAN, YES IT'S NICE, BUT PLEASE WATCH THE MOVIE AND LET ME READ MY BOOK." Ian, "AH, OK." (two seconds
later) "MOM, MOM! LOOK, THEY'VE GOT THE BABY, MOM. LOOK AT IT! LOOK A IT!" (sigh) me, "YES, IAN. WOW, THAT'S PRETTY SAD, BUT PLEASE LET ME READ MY BOOK, IAN." (Ian) "SORRY, MOM. OKAY, OKAY." As a mom I felt the remorse that I wasn't sharing this pricless moment with my son, so I decided that I will stop reading for a bit and enjoyed the movie with my cute son. I was trying to follow his
excitment with the movie so I was quick to point out one of the scenes in the movie. Apparently it was a really good one since I told Ian, "LOOK, IAN! WOW! THAT LOOKS AWESOME! DID YOU SEE THE TIGER JUMPING LIKE..?" (then Ian interrupted me) "MOM! SHHHH! BE QUIET."
On another note BYU WON!!! HALLELUJAH! This week was worth it even with my strep.

Glenn and I just couldn't believe that he told me that. Of course he said it in a polite voice. Now you may be thinking how horrible your two year olds are telling you to be quiet. But again, he is just my reflection, so I guess next time I need to show him that he is more important than a book right?

That'a hilarous, thanks for sharing that about Ian. You remember when Mason in the back of your vehicle he told us the very same thing? :)
What are you reading, by the way?
That is sooo funny!! What book were you reading? I need a book. So awesome that BYU won!
Cute pictures! Lola is cute, too, although I'm "shocked" that Glenn actually likes to have a family pet! (Will wonders never cease?) And don't feel bad about Ian & potty training; we've had to take a break from potty-training Michael, too (and he's nearly 3 1/2!)...I don't know what will encourage him to WANT to do it, but we'll figure it out one day...right? :) We love you guys! Hang in there; one day this super-hard year of training will be just a memory.
Kids really make you laugh. I can't wait to see you in a few weeks. I hope everything is going well and that you are feeling better
Kids definitely learn from example. That's too funny. At least you were patient and polite as you asked him to let you read your book. I probably would have ignored my kid altogether...which is maybe why they ignore me most of the time, huh??
